He’s been remembering alien abductions with a Swedish girl, and longs to find her. He recognizes her in a news story about a Lotta Lind whose students are developing and mastering psychic talents. Melek tracks her down and finds she’s transferring more than knowledge, and the visionary and metaphysical effects reach beyond the classroom.
